Daria Gabdull, winner of X-Factor show in Kazakhstan, has filed an application to participate in Eurovision-2012 as a represetative of Sweden, she told Tengrinews.kz correspondent. Kazakhstan does not take part in this music show and Daria had to search for an alternative way to enter the competition. Sweden could recommend any singer regardless his or her citizenship. However, the Eurovision participants would be first selected by Swedish TV audience. The song that Daria sang to participate in the music contest was written by a famous Swedish composer. Earlier Daria Gabdull won the first Kazakhstan X-Factor music competition. She was awarded with a 10 million tenge certificate (about $68 000). Sony Music Russiac sound-recording studio signed a contract with her. The first semi-final of the 57th Eurovision Song Contest will be held on May 22, 2012, the second one on May 24. The final will take place on May 26. Azerbaijan duo of Nigar Jamal and Eldara Gasimova won Eurovision-2011 Song Contest this year.
